After the season’s first rain, crews arrived to find the future rink floor looking more like a waterskiing starting line than a construction site. The team wasted no time “skimming across the surface,” coordinating a smooth dewatering effort that brought the building right back on track. No wipeouts, just precision teamwork.

Inside the structure, progress continued to gain speed. Kitchen gas line work wrapped up, and electrical crews kept cruising along overhead and through the mezzanine, installing the systems that will energize the facility once it’s open to skaters. Conduit lines are shaping up with the same clean flow you’d expect from a perfectly carved lap around a roller rink.

Material deliveries kept things moving as crews staged components needed for upcoming phases. Above, the framing team worked along the high roof parapet like setting the rails before hitting the rink at full stride bringing definition to the building’s silhouette.

Fire protection work also advanced as overhead fire suppression lines spread across the structure, adding another layer of safety and readiness.

And while the “Lake Rink” moment provided an unexpected waterskiing visual, the project remains right on schedule. An updated aerial view shows just how much momentum the pavilion has gained, with roofing, framing, and site layout continuing to come together.

AMG is excited to keep the pace strong as The Rink Sports Pavilion builds toward its final form a space where the
