Santa Clarita, CA - July 8, 2024 – The County of Tulare has awarded the Springville Library construction project to AMG & Associates, Inc. Ground breaking is set for September 16 for the brand new library that is valued at $4M.
The project consists of constructing a new County Library, which will include site work and utility connections, and the construction of a single story 3,200 square foot library building for County of Tulare Springville Library at 35707 Hwy 190, Springville, CA.
The 3,200-square-foot branch library will be over 1,000 square feet larger than the previous Springville Branch Library and bring enhanced services to the community. Traditional library spaces will be built along with a new a community room, outdoor patio, and new furniture. The library will offer books, DVDs, magazines, and computers to support the community's recreational, educational, and cultural needs.
Albert M. Giacomazzi, President of AMG, discussed the importance of libraries in communities. “Libraries are one of the backbones of a thriving community and the commitment of the people and local government to provide these services is of the utmost importance”. In just the past few years, AMG has been award more than a half dozen library facilities in central and southern California. “Our team takes particular pride in these construction projects knowing that these buildings will serve people today and for generations to come”, Giacomazzi added.
The library construction project is scheduled for completion in November of 2025.
