In September 2019, AMG was awarded the contract for the new construction of a 21,729 SF Community Center. The project also included a paved and gravel parking lot for 297 vehicles. Inside the new Community Center is a 5,453 SF Event Center/MPR, complete catering kitchen, indoor and outdoor storage, offices, staff lounge, restrooms, and a 7,500 SF bioretention basin. Additionally, the project included street improvements and site improvements.
AMG worked seamlessly with the Jurupa Area Recreation and Park District as well as the Architect RJM Design Group, and the Construction Manager Griffin Structures to complete the project on time and within budget. This $12,134,080 project was a much-needed recreation facility for the Jurupa Valley citizens. The community now has access to yoga classes, Pilates classes, Tae kwon do classes, cheerleading classes. The Skyview event center is also available to rent out for private events with full access to a catering kitchen.
