Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

1. Be a graduating high school senior attending an eligible public, charter, or private high school in the Santa Clarita Valley or Fresno, California
2. Plan to pursue a college degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field
3. Complete the online application and submit all required materials by the posted deadline

Application Requirements

A complete application includes:

1. Completed online application form
2. Personal essay (500–800 words)
3. Resume (1 page)
4. Unofficial high school transcript
5. One letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, coach, or employer

Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Selection Process

Applications are reviewed by an AMG & Associates selection committee. Awards are based on:

• Academic achievement
• Career alignment with engineering or construction fields
• Leadership, work experience, and extracurricular involvement
• Strength of personal essay and recommendation
• Consideration of obstacles overcome or financial need (when applicable)

Important Dates

• Application Opens: February 10
• Application Deadline: April 3, 2026
• Recipient Notification: Early May

Award Distribution

Scholarship funds are paid directly to the recipient’s college or educational institution upon verification of enrollment.
