PHASE 1 SITE PREPARATION FOR THE NEW ADOPTION/CLINIC BUILDING: UPGRADE OF THE SHELTER’S EXISTING ELECTRICAL SERVICE, REALIGNMENT OF UNDERGROUND UTILITIES CURRENTLY UNDER THE NEW ADOPTION/CLINIC SITE, INSTALLATION OF A NEW VEHICULAR GATE AND PERSON GATE SERVING THE OVERALL PUBLIC WORKS COMPLEX.

PHASE 2 – CONSTRUCT AN APPROXIMATE 8071 SF ONE STORY ADOPTION/CLINIC BUILDING AND RELATED COMPONENTS: A NEW ADOPTION/CLINIC BUILDING, PARTIAL NEW EXTERIOR FACADE ON A PORTION OF THE EXISTING 1960’S SHELTER, RELATED SITE WORK.

PHASE 3 – NON-STRUCTURAL INTERIOR REMODELING OF APPROXIMATELY 1810 SF WITHIN THE EXISTING STEEL (PRE-ENGINEERED) ANIMAL HOLDING BUILDING: RENOVATION AND CONVERSION OF AN APPROXIMATE 1024 SF AREA IN THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE EXISTING BUILDING, RENOVATION OF AN APPROXIMATE 750 SF DOG ISOLATION ROOM #501

ADD ALTERNATES INCLUDE:

ADD ALT 1 – DOG ISOLATION AND REHAB RM #501 IN THE EXISTING STEEL KENNEL BUILDING – PHASE 1 NEW PLUMBING, CONCRETE SLAB, DOORS AND RELATED WORK ONLY.

ADD ALT 2 – DOG ISOLATION AND REHAB RM #501 PHASE 2 – NEW CEILING, LIGHTING & HVAC.

ADD ALT. 3 – REPURPOSE/REMODEL OF THE EXISTING PORTABLE BUILDINGS – THIS WORK IS TO BE PERFORMED WITHIN A $50,000 TOTAL ALLOWANCE. THE SCOPE OF WORK WILL BE WORKED OUT WITH THE SELECTED CONTRACTOR TO FIT WITHIN THE $50,000 ALLOWANCE. THE ALLOWANCE WILL INCLUDE ALL COSTS INCLUDING CONTRACTOR GENERAL CONDITIONS AND PROFIT AND OVERHEAD.

ADD ALT 4 – PAINT EXISTING SHELTER BUILDING – THIS WORK INCLUDES PAINTING ALL PORTIONS OF THE CURRENTLY PAINTED EXISTING SHELTER BUILDINGS THAT WILL REMAIN.

In the event of a conflict between or among any of the project bid documents, subcontractor/supplier’s bid or proposal shall be deemed to include the more stringent requirement. Subcontractor/supplier further agrees that it is its responsibility to verify with the awarding authority the existence of all project bid documents, and that subcontractor/supplier shall not rely solely on the accuracy of the contents of the AMG & Associates Bid Center or Project tabs. It is understood and agreed by subcontractor/supplier that AMG& Associates, Inc., may, at its discretion, require 100% payment and performance bonds from subcontractor/supplier, and that the requirements for such bonds are outlined in the standard subcontract agreement.
